Technical silicon (metallurgical)

Silicon is produced in the form of pieces ranging in size from 0 to 2 mm, from 2 to 10 mm, from 10 to 60 mm, from 60 to 100 mm. By agreement with the consumer, silicon may have a fraction of 10 to 100 mm, of 2 to 100 mm, of 2 to 60 mm.

Silicon grades and chemical composition correspond to the details, specified in the following table:

Areas of use: Technical silicon is used in the following areas of industry:

  1. As a raw material for the production of more pure polycrystalline silicon and refined metallurgical silicon;
  2. As a raw material for the production of "solar" silicon for solar cells;
  3. In the production of silumin and other Al-Si alloys;
  4. In the production of ferrosilicon, ferrosilicomanganese, ferrosiliconocalcium and other ferroalloys;
  5. In the production of organo-silicon compounds.

Shipment method: packaged in a "big-bag" type container weighing 900 - 1000 kg.
